Balatro has added new card backs for Stardew valley, Cyberpunk, Slay the Spire and Binding of Isaac. They're all available free.

The Balatro Party is growing: Two months after adding Geralt the Diver and Slay the Spire to the game as part of the "collaboration" pack with Friends of Jimbo, LocalThunk, Playstack, and Stardew valley, they have released a new collaboration pack featuring card art from Cyberpunk, 2077, Slay the Spire and The Binding of Isaac.

The Friends of Jimbo 2 collaborative pack is now available and, like the first one, it's completely free for all players. The new card artwork (which does not affect gameplay) features some characters that you may be familiar with. This is for you if you have ever thought, "Wow, I wish I could play Balatro alongside Johnny Silverhand and Jackie, or at least have their images on my cards."

They're not the only new backs that are noteworthy. Isaac is also here, along with some vaguely unsettling Joker card artwork, as well as Ironclad from Slay the Spire and Stardew Valley residents Pierre, Lewis, Marnie, and Silent.

Wout van Halderen, Playstack's PR manager, said: "After we released the first collaboration pack in the summer of this year, we knew that we wanted to invite more friends to the party." "Working with these talented studios and developers has been a truly rewarding experience. Seeing their creations on Balatro was a real highlight for Playstack and LocalThunk."

Balatro is a huge phenomenon. The fact that so many games want to be friends with Jimbo shows how popular it really is. People just love this game: In August, CD Projekt global PR director Radek Grabowski said the studio decided to collaborate with LocalThunk on Witcher 3 card backs because people there dig it so much, and in hindsight--especially since Playstack said the original Friends of Jimbo pack was the first in a planned series--I suppose we could've foreseen that Cyberpunk 2077 would follow suit.

The new Balatro skins are unlocked through the game's Customize Deck settings. If more Friends of Jimbo packs are to follow, it's possible. Van Halderen told PC Gamer that "we have some surprises on the horizon, and as long there is a desire for these collaborations, then we are open for them with cool partners."
