Someone has just discovered that Balatro’s 'Misprint Joker' has been sending us hidden messages all along.

Misprint is a joker that you can find in Balatro. The card looks like it was badly streaked when it came out of the color laser printer. It offers a random multiplier from 0 to 23, which averages at 11.5. This is a good mult for the early game. However, I don't buy Misprint very often and I don't keep it around for long. There are much better jokers.

However. Misprint has been keeping a dirty little secret for all these months, and it took seven months after Balatro's launch before someone noticed it. Misprint isn't simply a random multiplier. It's also attempting to cheat you. It will reveal the suit and rank of the next card that you'll receive.

BelenosBear has shared this tip with us. It appears that someone in the chat had given it to him. AllineVayn told BelenosBear, that when you're playing blind, "the description for misprint can be something like #@11D, which means your top card is Jack (11) with Diamond (D).

AllineVayn also added, "It's crazy!"

And it's a fact. Shit isactually crazy and Misprint does actually show the rank and suit for the next card you have in your deck. You don't have to be playing Misprint at that time. You can find Misprint by looking through your jokers while you are playing blind. It will flash its randomizer and every so often, it will also flash a series revealing the next cards. As a cheat Misprint's psychic ability probably isn't veryhelpful the majority of the time. However, I can see a few situations where it would be helpful, such as trying to put together a flush, or five-of a kind, on your last hand.

The most important thing I took away from this is that we now know Balatro has secrets. There's got to be more than one! What else are the other 149 jokers trying to hide?
