A Concord Platinum Trophy Hunter came back from the dead to destroy the meme about 69 (nice players) achieving plat

The players didn't have much time to prepare for Concord's impending demise. Sony only gave a few days' notice before taking the servers offline. But among the chaos, there were a few players who saw the opportunity to platinum-level the game before its demise. Some of them even managed to do so.

Concord had only 100 levels to complete, and each level offered a cosmetic item. But that wasn't what these mavericks wanted. Some players were more interested in grinding them out to get the platinum trophy and complete the game.

The last few days were a confusing mess of players trying to enjoy the time they had left while others threw themselves off cliffs in order to grind XP. I decided to join in the chaos by playing a few Rivalry matches. As expected, my teammates were either throwing themselves off of the map or going AFK. It was a strange experience, but I did level up quickly, so the race to platinum wasn't impossible.

Concord ended on a fitting note, as 69 players received the platinum trophy. Some players found this funny, but the majority of players thought it was "nice." A joke thread was shut down on r/Games by a moderator because it didn't contain "enough substance". Almost all of the comments that were removed were "nice" or just "noice."

Someone decided to put an end to the joke. One trophy hunter was able to change the final plat score from 70 to 70 by creating an account on psn after Concord shut down. One player joked, "Ban him immediately from the platform."

Unrelated to the hunt for the platinum trophy, someone else revealed that Concord still has ads running: "[Sony] collaborated with a Korean pizza brand, the collab-menus are still available. The pizzas look really good, but the promotion ended yesterday, so I won't get to try a Concord limited-edition pizza.
