The Crew 2 is now only $1 on Steam

Have you got one dollar? If you have a dollar, I've got a great way to spend it: Ubisoft’s open-world racing video game The Crew 2. It's currently 98% off the regular price, which is $1.

The Crew 2 wasn't a game that blew us away when it was released in 2018. We said at the time that although the open world racing game had "an impressively large, sometimes beautiful map," it did not "make-up for mediocre handling and a lack multiplayer options." Since then, a number of updates and patches have been released, and the game has now received a "very favorable" rating from more than 61,000 Steam users.

Plus, ya'know, you can get it for just one dollar.

If you look closely, you will also see that The Crew 2 appears on our list of the top flight simulators for PC. It's not just the "I am flying so fast" kind: The Crew 2 gives players the option to fly planes, boats, and even cars. In fact, the launch trailer of The Crew 2 opens with a sequence of an airplane.

It's for a dollar.

According to Is there any Deal, this is The Crew 2's lowest price ever, short of an Epic Games Store Giveaway. And for the record, this has never been an Epic Games Store Giveaway, so this is the best it gets.

I don't believe I need to sweeten the pot any more, but I'll do it anyway: Ubisoft announced earlier today that they would add an offline mode to The Crew 2 along with The Crew Motorfest, which is also on sale for $21. This means, assuming Ubi keeps their word, The Crew 2 won't suffer the same fate as its predecessor. It was rendered unplayable when its servers were taken down in April.

The Crew 2 sale coincides with Ubisoft’s announcement of The Crew Motorfest Year 2 which begins in November. This will see the entire island of Maui made free for all players. It will also feature the return of the Made in Japan Playlist and a new PvE Mode called The Chase Squad. Details are available at ubisoft.com.

The Crew 2 will be on sale until September 23 for a ridiculously low price of $1. I cannot stress this enough. If Steam is not for you, you can get it at the same price - again, it's literally $1 - from the Epic Games Store or the Ubisoft Store.
