Cult of the Lamb is rocketing to the top of the Steam charts thanks to a massive free update, a 50% discount and a massive free update.

There are now a lot of cult leaders competing for the world's attention. Cult of the Lamb, thanks to its Unholy Alliance update, and a half-off discount, has risen to the top of Steam's Top Sellers Charts. It is currently ranked 4th on the US charts and 6th globally.

Unholy Alliance is the second major update of Cult of the Lamb for 2024. It brings a cuddly, occult companion to the action roguelike game's Lamb. A second player can join in on full co-op local play or using Steam's RemotePlayTogether.

If you'd like to have a little more horn, you can also play as the Goat using a new cosmetic fur. A new fleece transmogrification system allows you to swap the appearance of a fleece without losing any bonuses. Fashion is the ultimate goal for any cult leader.

Unholy Alliance adds a bunch of new traits that you may find on potential followers. Your cult might have a Poet, a Hardened Criminal or even a Murderously Jealous spouse in its ranks. Exciting! You can also unlock new relics, tarots, and buildings that let you play dice with cult members and keep their children in nurseries.

A new paid DLC was released along with the free update. The Pilgrim pack adds a digital comic that allows access to new quests and followers, outfits and cult decor for $7. One of the little camel guys is one of the followers and he's adorable.

Cult Of The Lamb is now on sale for 50% off. Its price has been reduced to $12.49, the lowest price since its release. The latest batch of Kool-Aid in Cult of the Lamb seems to be a hit with players. SteamDB reports that the number of concurrent players for Cult of the Lamb has been at its highest in over six months.
