Over a Million players have returned to GTA Online in order to try out the new zombie mode, which is similar to Call of Duty.

Rockstar Games announced last week a limited-time zombie mod for GTA Online, which would see hordes swarming around North Yankton. This snowy town was from the beginning GTA 5 story. Players haven't had access to it for a long time, unless they could master a number of glitches that allowed them to clip in. The zombie mode was initially a mystery to players, but it is now clear that this mode is a surefire way to succeed.

The Lundendorff Cemerty Survival Mode has surpassed all previous GTA Online events. GTA Online Stats shows that just over 400,000 players returned to the game in the first 24 hour to try out the new mode. Since October 10, 1,269,173 players have taken on the undead. One Twitter user who monitors Rockstar games noted this marked "a 270% rise over the player counts for the Assault on ATT-16 during the same period."

Assault on ATT-16 was a multi-staged operation where players took part in a multifaceted operation that centered around the USS Luxington ATT-16, the second largest military ship ever to appear in a GTA video game. While it sounds exciting, zombies are a much more terrifying threat.

The Ludendorff Cemerty Survival Mode allows players to team up and try to outlast zombie waves. They can use anything to help them survive including power-ups. It's similar to Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Zombies. It seems that 15 waves are required to be beaten, but anything above 10 is good. Plus, if your number of waves reaches double digits you will receive a Ludendorff Survivor outfit. If you manage to beat wave 15 you will get the platinum achievement in the survival mode.

One player said, "I played by myself and I only lasted seven round." "Difficult but fun. "Made me want to play COD Zombies, lol." Before you start The Ludendorff Cemetry Survival Mode, it is worth noting that, when all seems lost, the best way to survive is by training zombies and gathering them into herds. The heavy shotgun is also your best friend.
