LEGO DC Super-Villains is a charmingly funny game that combines the joy of LEGO with the creative coolness of the DC roster. The game isn't hard by any means, but it's a great casual romp through an interesting story. The massive roster is impressive and the detail put into each character makes each one of them worth putting time into.

With great sense of humor, an incredible amount of content and tons of fun, LEGO DC Super-Villains it's the kind of game that's easy to recommend to anyone, not just fans os super villains (and heroes).

If you hate Lego games, this isn’t going to change your mind. For everyone else, this is a delightful return to form which hopefully serves as a reference for TT Games’ future projects.

Easily the best Lego game I've played. A fantastic cast of characters made better by incredible voice work, good comic book story, a great character creator, and improvements to core mechanics make Lego DC Super-Villains pure entertainment.

If you're new to LEGO games, then LEGO DC Super-Villains is a good place to jump in. The quirky and humorous storyline, imaginative level design, and unusual villains as heroes spin on the super hero genre make it one of the better recent LEGO games.

A solid entry into the lexicon of Lego and DC adventure-puzzle games. There’s a ton of family friendly content that will keep kids busy for hours and entertain their adult counterparts as well.

After the rather lacklustre LEGO The Incredibles recently, Tt is back on top form with LEGO DC Super-Villains. This is a real joy for fans of DC Comics, absolutely stuffed with Easter Eggs and inside jokes that cater to every type of DC fan. From the DC films, the Arrowverse TV shows, to the classics, the cartoon series, and, of course, most of all, the comics. Along with containing some really great designed stages and areas, it also has the best story and cast in any LEGO title to date. It's this high quality across the board that will make this more than just another LEGO game.

While on paper the changes seem incremental - and if we’re being honest, they are - DC Super-Villains feels like a big step up and a welcome evolution. I’m certainly feeling better this go round than I was at the end of the last, and am even planning some trips back in to clean up and collect what’s left to find. Plus, they got Mark Hamill back for The Joker. That alone means it can’t be all bad.

The LEGO formula may be growing tired at this point, but LEGO DC Super-Villains is still one of the best games TT Games has produced and is an excellent use of the DC licence.

LEGO DC Super-Villains is perhaps the best LEGO game to date. Tread the unfamiliar waters of villainy in a compelling tale that is full of vibrant, trademark LEGO charm and topped off with fabulous voice acting -- long gone are the days of grunts and muffled movie clips. Enjoy more of the same stellar LEGO-style gameplay from the perspective of a diverse range of villains, each unique and fun to play. Seeing a fully customisable character at the forefront of the story that can be enjoyed both co-op and solo sets a real milestone for the franchise while further accentuating the creativity of this LEGO title. Honestly, being bad has never felt so good.

Funny, non-stop and with a story that takes a look at the New 52, LEGO Villains is the second Lego game we play this 2018, and by far one of the best of recent years. Yes, the mechanics are all the same, no changes, but it includes a deep character creator, the voices of Kevin Conroy, Mark Hammill, Tara Strong and other well-known dubbing actors and a Campaign mode with a lot of rhythm. And the main attraction: BE THE BAD GUYS all the time. Fun for the kinds, fanservice for the adults.

Having been disappointed by Lego The Incredibles, confused by Lego Ninjago The Movie’s linear approach, and slightly underwhelmed by the obscure roster of Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2, I am happy to report that Lego DC Super-Villains is a real return to form for Traveller’s Tales. It eclipses Lego Batman 2 to become my joint favourite alongside the first Lego Marvel Super Heroes; this is an essential play for any fan of comics, Lego games, or fun in general.

Lego DC Supervillains is an enjoyable game that has everything from the past Lego games. Whether it’s mechanics, a lot of characters, or free roam. That means you have to take the good with the bad aspects. The story is a fresh new take on DC comics with injecting the idea of your character being the center of the universe. This concept makes more a more inviting experience whether its new or old Lego game fans. In the end, it is a Lego game. There hasn’t been a bad one yet. So, go enjoy Supervillains because it is one of Traveller’s Tales best.

Overall, while it’s still mostly the same as previous titles in the Lego series, Lego DC Super-Villains offers some much needed twist in terms of story, shining a light on the life of the bad guys and girls in the comic book universe. Add in the superb voice acting, the many different powers that you get to wield as the villains, as well as the huge amount of activities scattered throughout its open world and you’re bound to have a good time being bad.

LEGO DC Super-Villains offers a brand new campaign, experienced from the point of view of DC's 'bad guys'. The historical villains have proven to be great entertainers, despite a rather sour narrative and the same old gameplay formula.

LEGO DC Super Villains is a unique twist on the aging LEGO game premise that shifts the perspective and puts you in the shoes of The Joker, Lex Luthor, and other villains.

If you haven't played a Lego game in a long time then I highly recommend Lego DC Super-Villains. Its huge cast of fun villains, in-depth character customization, intricate hub, and satisfying bosses make it worth its weight in Lego bricks.

LevelUp October 20, 2018
LEGO DC Super-Villains is an interesting bet that can potentially transform itself into a new series within the LEGO universe. Although some negative elements are evident, Traveler's Tales game manages to balance the experience with enjoyable mechanics and sometimes great ideas and elevated quality.

This is one of the best LEGO games we’ve played in a while. There’s nothing surprising or challenging here if you know the formula, but there is a lot of fun.
