GOG is offering Tropico 4 for free to kick-off the 2024 Back to school sale

Tropico 4, a management sim for a banana republic, is available for free on GOG for the next 3 days.

Tropico 6 is the newest and greatest addition to the city-and-politics simulation. It was released in 2019. What does Tropico 4 have that Tropico 6 and Tropico 5 don't? It's free. Come on, this has already been covered.

If you like Tropico 4, but want more, GOG is offering the Tropico Complete DLC Pack at half price. Tropico 4 is available for less than £10.

I don't believe there's a direct connection between Tropico and back-to school, but GOG also has a Back to School Sale, which ironically seems to be targeted towards people who don’t actually have to return to school: "If these days are behind you then it just means that more time is available for gaming!"

There are more than 5,800 discounted games, with varying discounts. Some that immediately catch my attention include Alien: Isolation Collection (80% off), Gris (80% off), Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War 2 Master Collection (80% off), The Night of the Rabbit (which I will never recommend) and Alpha Protocol (20% off). There's more to look through, but we're not going to have time. (That being said, I would be remiss to not mention that Deus Ex Human Revolution Director's cut is 85% off. That, my friends is a steal.

Tropico 4 is free until August 29, but GOG's Back to School Sale runs until September 10. Grab it while you still can.
