Acer has done a good job with this gaming laptop, even though there were a lot of great deals during Prime Big Deal Days this week. Most gaming laptops come with some sort of caveat, such as a small SSD or other things that will make you wince.

This little machine has a lot going for it, from its 1TB SSD to its DDR5 memory. It's a 16" screen, so it's a good size for the price. It has a 165Hz display, so you can play competitively, since you'll be able match the refresh rate that the RTX 4060 pushes out at low to medium graphics settings. It's also one of our favorites for working, at 16:10.

This is not to mention the Ryzen 7 processor with eight cores and 16 threads. This is a great combination that will get you through rendering tasks and a little gaming at native 1200p.

This machine's main problem is that it doesn't seem to have Dual Channel RAM. While 16GB is plenty for gaming, you might find it a little difficult to multitask. It may not have the highest bandwidth, but DDR5 is still a good choice for speed.
