Caravan SandWitch is a game that falls somewhere between Death Stranding (as in Death Stranding) and A Short Hike.

A new narrative-driven independent exploration game has some really cool stuff going on. It plays out like a narrative mixture of exploration and story, somewhere between a Zelda modern game, Death Stranding and indie darling A Short Hike. It's a nonviolent adventure game that focuses on exploring, meeting characters and solving puzzles.

The official description reads: "In Caravan SandWitch embark on a journey through a Sci-Fi Provence-like universe, driven by a mysterious story about your missing sister, which unfolds as you go." "Interact with communities on Cigalo and help them with their missions. You will also meet new people." Explore the world at your own pace, whether you are in a van or on foot.

The story of Caravan SandWitch is cool because it takes place in the aftermath of the wild sci-fi resource wars that are usually featured in games. It's the story of people trying to build a new community in a world that has been left behind by a destructive resource war. This includes native species, defunct robotics, and people who have stayed behind.

Caravan SandWitch is one of our favorite demos from the Steam Next Fest this summer. Ted Litchfield gave a glowing impression of the demo: "I especially appreciate how Caravan SandWitch’s vision of a desolate world isn't dead--it's like the American Southwest, with red scrubgrass, occasional groves or hearty trees, as well as gorgeous oases hidden between the dusty msas."

Caravan SandWitch has received a lot of positive reviews. It currently has 92% positive reviews on Steam.

Caravan SandWitch is available on Steam for $25. It will be 10% off until September 19th. You can find out more on caravansandwitch.com.
