Deadlock's newest patch buffs the three most annoying heroes, but leaves out the biggest thorn on my side

Valve is always releasing small patches to Deadlock in order to balance the new heroes and team compositions. After a major update which saw six new Heroes added to the Hero Labs we have a small patch that strengthens some heroes and weakens others.

I have no qualms about admitting that I am a Seven fan. I know that Seven is not the most complex or impressive hero, but I do not have the time to learn more than 4 heroes at this point, and Seven was the easiest to grasp.

Seven was also very powerful right from the start and has remained so throughout Deadlock's beta. This is why many players find him annoying to fight. The skill ceiling for a hero with high rewards is low, which makes him a monster among average player pools. The fun doesn't stop there. This latest update has given his ultimate Storm Cloud a slight buff. Its damage per second increased from 110 to 120.

Shiv and Bebop are two other annoying heroes that have received a buff in the latest patch. Bebop, however, could be a nerf for some players due to the changes made to the damage stacks of the hero on the Sticky Bomb. The stacks will no longer decrease on death, and you can earn stacks by dying heroes who are hurt by Sticky Bombs with a 12-second delay. Before, players automatically got stacks when the bomb hit someone. If you can get multiple kills you will be able turn Bebop to a killing machine. However, if you are in a difficult lanes and cannot get any kills you will have a tough time getting anything higher than 50% for your bomb. Bebop's damage stack increases from 3% up to 5%. Spirit power damage scaling also increases from 0.9 up to 1.2. And the Sticky Bomb cooldown is reduced from 19 to 18 seconds.

Shiv is probably one of the most terrifying heroes you can face. Shiv's ability Killing Blow has been given some serious buffs. The cast range has increased from 13 metres to 14. The rage per weapon damage has increased from 0.015 - 0.017 and the drain rate from 0.3 - 0.25.

Paradox, McGinnis and Grey Talon all received various changes to their abilities that either weakened them or increased their cooldowns. Jacob Lash is one hero that is missing from this list. I would love to see him get some tweaks. There's nothing more frustrating than being 1v1 with a Paradox, Kelvin, or Kelvin, only to have Lash swoop from nowhere and beat you into a bloody pulp. It would be nice to see this hero get a few adjustments, even if it meant a slight weakened of his ground strike.

It seems that most players do not want to see Lash changed at all. "Once more, not a single word about Lash," says one player. Imagine adjusting Lash. Icefrog knows Lash's perfection. What a character. What a great video game character. "Shout out to Jacob Lash." Speak like a Lash player.
