Diablo 4 players create the ultimate AFK Diablo build that plays itself
In action RPGs time is the most valuable currency. It's the most important thing that drives players crazy, as they argue over how long it takes them to complete a dungeon or find powerful items. I often wonder if action-RPG players prefer to play a spreadsheet or a game. Today is one of those days, as Chinese players have created an autoplay spiritborn build so you can go do something else.
I admit that this build is definitely novel, but I cannot imagine being excited about turning Diablo 4 in to a screensaver. The build turns your spiritborn into a cloud that melts any monsters that dare spawn in the room with you. It is also one of fastest builds, capable of clearing a dungeon of any difficulty in under a minute.
It's a bug-ridden build, just like every other spiritborn build currently in Diablo 4. This is why the damage of the class has skyrocketed into the trillions. The most powerful comes from a Paragon Node, which is supposed to increase damage up to a certain amount based on the amount of barrier, Diablo’s temporary bonus health. The damage increases regardless of what the tooltip claims. It's so strong and easy to use that you can combine with almost any skill.
This variant of the uber builds uses Toxic skin, a passive ability that infects your enemies with poison. It also includes the Wound Drinker Ring to increase the potency of Toxic skin, as well as thorns for damage. It's easy to play: You can either stand in the middle and watch enemies disintegrate, or you can use a mouse to dash through the dungeon and leave a trail of dead bodies.
Mattjestic Life, a Diablo 4 YouTuber, explains all the details in his video. He even explains what gear you'll need to play. He recommends two mythic unique items that are extremely rare, but I believe you could make this work using normal legendaries. It will just be clunkier. If you're interested, I also made a version that isn't mythic.
This build will fall off if you try to go beyond 100 tiers in the Pit. Mattjestic Life's video explains that you can go even higher by hitting a certain threshold of stats. To do that, however, you'll need either incredible luck or a lot of time to grind out all the materials and perfect your gear.
Blizzard will be releasing a midseason update soon. It will discuss it in its stream the following week. I don't think it will fix the bugs that are affecting every class until next year. Now's your opportunity to remove the action from action RPGs and auto-farm all of the monsters you can.
