Dragon Age: The Veilguard mods are the first to fulfill the creators' original intention, letting you play Nigel Thornberry. However, they spit all that is good and decency by making everything less pink.
It's time to play Red Dead Redemption 2010 until this all blows over. If you're one of the many players who are knee-deep in Dragon Age The Veilguard right now, I have good news for you: the mods already are rolling in.
It's not a major update yet, though I hope to see a Varric VGX Snowboarder in the future. What is available focuses on people sharing character customisation presets or mods that remove the staleness of the game. Fancy a more mauve Thedas? Check out Less Magenta & Reduced Bloom.
You can do this as long as you don't mind being a art coward. The piss filter has become a lost art in recent years after it became so popular during the 360-era, that it was almost a meme. We were not aware of what we were doing when we mocked Tselinoyarsk, nu-Detroit, and the yellow haze. I salute The Veilguard, for bringing back the trend in indigo instead of the classic piss.
You can remove the ad if you wish. Why not play the entire game as Nigel Thornberry? You're clearly capable of any earthly transgression.
Old Nigel, one of the countless presets uploaded by people, is probably the most interesting. All the others are very pretty. Geralt is the best.
If we're lucky, these are the first green shoots in what will eventually become a flourishing mod scene similar to the one for Dragon Age Origins. If BioWare’s last release, the Mass Effect Legendary Edition, is anything to go by then that's exactly what this game is.
