Dragon Age: Veilguard's First Patch adds some Mass Effect flair in your wardrobe
As promised, Dragon Age: The Veilguard's first patch is now live. Not only does it fix some issues, but it also adds some new swanky duds that you may recognize.
The new outfit was released in celebration of Mass Effect's N7 Day. This year was "quieter", largely due to Dragon Age: The veilguard. You can find it in a chest next to the Lighthouse Workshop after Harding's "Singing Blade", which is completed, is installed.
I won't lie. I can't really say that the outfit is "familiar", in the sense that when I look at it, I immediately think of Mass Effect. I think it looks more like something Ezio would wear if he wanted to take a break from all the sneaking, parkour and other activities. It continues what we can now call tradition: In 2010, Mass Effect 2 received some very swish Blood Dragon Armor based on Dragon Age: Origins which had just launched a few months prior.
The origins of this armor were clear.
The patch is what matters, and it fixes a few dozen bugs, including the Dalish elf from the Unwanted Guest quest. This is a big fix for the character, who is supposed be an elf. But for me, the highlight is that "NPC necks will no longer grow in an unexpected way."
EA has announced that it will continue to support the game in the future with additional patches, "to help improve your playing experience." The next update is not yet announced, but if you are having problems, this patch should help. Below are the full patch notes.
