Here's how you can watch the Future Games Show at Gamescom, which promises new Rings of Power and Civ 7 news.

You know what it means: It's time for a lavish event in the videogame industry. No, not that Geoff Keighley event. It's not the other Geoff Keighley either. This time, it's Gamescom, which, thanks to Opening Night Live is kind of another Keighley event. This is when the entire world's gaming press, publishers, and developers cram into a Cologne convention center to show off their latest work.

And this means that it's time for a new Future Games Show on our sister site GamesRadar. This one is a doozy. It's coming at you on August 21 at 1 pmPT / 4pm ET / 10pm CEST through Twitch.com, YouTube, Twitter.com, Facebook.com, TikTok.com, GamesRadar.com, BiliBili.com, and more.

The event will feature over 50 games by a variety of developers and publishers.

Firaxis will be giving us two in-depth looks at Civilization 7, a new look at the planetary defence cannon simulator PVKK, and some more information on Greedfall 2! All of that, plus new announcements and a lot more.

Even though I thought Gamescom was all about videogames, there's a lot more to do. Prime Video will be there to give us a look at The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Season 2. I'm hoping to see a cameo by Mozu the Blight.
