LG's 4K 32-inch OLED Gaming Monitor is the best gaming monitor on the market, and it just reached its lowest price ever for Black Friday.
The LG UltraGear32GS95UE could be my favorite gaming monitor. But what about the price? $1,400. Ouch. LG had already drastically cut the price of this product within a few weeks after my initial review. It's now even cheaper at Amazon, $1,070.
This doesn't make the 32-inch 4K OLED from a major brand the cheapest. The MSI MAG 321UP is the only monitor that can be purchased for $700 at Amazon and Newegg. But this LG monitor is the superior one.
The LG WOLED panel is slightly brighter on the whole. It doesn't also turn grey under bright ambient light, like the QD-OLED panel supplied by MSI.

It's also faster with 240Hz, plus it has a cool 480Hz 1080p setting that works really well. You get two screens in one. This monitor is a 4K panel with high precision, but it also doubles as a 1080p panel with high speed.
You get the same amazing response times of 0.03ms as with any OLED. The matte panel coating is less desirable than the glossy one. This is usually the best option for HDR and contrast. This LG is still a stunning display.
It's not the USB-C connection that bothers me. You can't power an actual gaming laptop with the existing USB-C interfaces. USB-C makes it easier to share a monitor between a desktop computer and laptop.
What's more, at $1,400 or even $1,070 should USB-C be included just in case? This is the best 32-inch 4K OLED monitor to date and it must be in the running as the best PC gaming display, bar none. Although $1,070 is a lot of cash, it's still a good deal. If you can afford it, you will not be disappointed.
