Please make this the last Black Friday discount on my favorite gaming mice so I can stop blogging about it.
Price check: Newegg $99.99
" data-widget-type="deal" data-render-type="editorial">Listen, I'm a fan of Superlight. It's the mouse that I've used for two and a quarter years. I love it, but I am so tired of writing about it.
But I mustwrite about it. Not because my editors are scolding me or anything else. If I didn't shout about it when Logitech continues to offer discounts and I love it, I would be doing people a disservice. Here it is, the Logitech Superlight G Pro at its lowest price ever, $81.97, on Amazon. Whoop-de-doo (no, really).

Since this model, there have been two newer Superlight models--the Superlight 2 Dex and the Superlight 2--but I never felt the need to switch. When the OG Superlight is so cheap, I would recommend that others choose it over the other two. But that's me.
Sure, there have been improvements. There are new switches, which is always subjective (the Superlight 2 switches are heavier), a better sensor, and an improved battery life. Who needs a better sensor than the original Hero 25K?
I can't complain that the Superlight has a battery life of 70 hours, but it's still a good deal more than what I expected. (That's 70 hours of continuous use - not including sleep time.
The Superlight 2 Dex costs $159, while the Superlight 2 is on sale for $117. Why would I choose either of these when the original is at its lowest price ever?
It was $91.46 back in September. We're almost $10 less now. It's still a fantastic mouse.
Listen, a mouse does not get objectively worse with time, but the newer competition looks a little more tasty. The Superlight is still a very lightweight (or super-lightweight) 63g mouse, with no holes visible, unlike some of the competition. It was also the first to achieve this, which will always make it a favorite of mine.
It's still working two and a quarter years later. I have not had a issue with it. It's not a scientific study and it's only one man's experience, but Logitech is forcing me to write about their bloody wonderful mouse. I'll be damned for not explaining why I love it.
You have it. Logitech, thank you for the discount. Can we please make this the last one?
