The Logitech Lightspeed G Pro 2 is one of the best gaming mouses I've tested this year and I found it for $20 less than its MSRP

A gaming mouse that is responsive, has a wide range of shapes and sizes, and feels great can make the difference between winning and losing (in video games, of course). Logitech has released a mid-range mouse that is a great option if you are looking for a new mouse. It's also been discounted.

The Logitech GPro 2 is available for $110 on Amazon, which is $20 less than its MSRP. However, this does not mean that it's any worse than its older, more flashy sibling, Logitech's Pro XSuperlight 2 Dex.

In my review, i praised the mouse's excellent sensor and battery life. However, I criticised its over-reliance on Logitech software and how similar it is to the previous G Pro Mouse. All of this is still true, as the Hero 2 sensor can now offer a maximum DPI of 44k and a maximum IPS of 8888, along with 88 G of acceleration.

It is a very responsive and responsive mouse. Although its competitors will beat it on polling rate (1000 Hz), I have found that anything higher is a battery drain.

This mouse has a battery life of up to 95-hours with the lighting off, and 60-hours with its default lighting. This is a pretty good battery life for a wireless mouse. You can probably go a whole week without charging the mouse.

But it's not all roses. Logitech software is inconsistent and prone for problems, such as loading issues at the beginning. However, it seems to run more consistently now than it did just a few months earlier. Once everything is set up you won't need the software much.

It's a very similar mouse, still ambidextrous and with customizable side buttons. I wouldn't upgrade from the original Pro to this one, but I would consider it if I was in need of a new mouse.

It's the cheapest option to get Logitech Hero 2 sensor. But it's also a solid mouse in all other aspects.
