The Mobile Gaming Show, a third gaming showcase from PC Gamer publisher Future, will be livestreamed on September 26th at 10am PT/6pm BST. It will join our own PC Gaming Show as well as the multiplatform Future Games Show.
The show will be broadcast on all the usual broadcasting platforms, such as YouTube, Twitch and TikTok.
The Mobile Gaming Show teased participation by Warframe creator Digital Extremes and EVE Online creator CCP Games. Mega-publisher NetEase Games has also been mentioned. Ben Starr will host the show, who played Clive Rosfield in Final Fantasy 16
I'm still not used to the blurring of the lines between PCs, smartphones and tablets. I used to be able to say with confidence that they were not alike. One was home to games such as Crysis and World of Warcraft and the other was Angry Birds, and that endless golfing game that ruined the plots of my TV shows for a time. The number of PC games has increased over the last 15 years and the capabilities of smartphones are so advanced that I don't believe the younger generation can tell the difference anymore.
Jake Tucker, who is also involved in our twice-annual PC Gaming Show, said that mobile gaming has become the most popular platform for gamers around the world. "Billions of people play games on their phones every day," he said. The Mobile Gaming Show will put the spotlight on the best mobile games and the people who make them. We'll also examine the most innovative and exciting titles that are coming soon, which demand your attention.
This is to say, even gamers who are firmly rooted at their desks (I don't own a Steam Deck!) The Mobile Gaming Show, which will take place on September 26, might have something for gamers who are firmly rooted to their desks (I don't even own a Steam Deck!)
