The Penguin Sale on Steam celebrates Batman’s most sarcastic villain by slashing the prices of the best superhero games.
Next week, HBO will debut a new Batman show. However, it is not about Batman. The Penguin is a new series on HBO that's not about Batman.
The series stars Colin Farrell reprising his role in the 2022 film The Batman. He's not Burgess Meredith, but early reviews have been very positive.
This is all relevant to you at PC Gamer, because WB Games has a huge Penguin Sale on Steam.
If you have any Batman or Batman-related games missing from your collection, now is the time to add them. Arkham Collection includes Arkham Asylum and Arkham City. Arkham Knight is also included. The Arkham Collection is $10, which is 85% off its regular price. Or you can choose to buy the individual games at $4 each. Arkham Origins has also been reduced to $4 and Gotham Knights has been 80% off, bringing it down to $12.
Other bat-discounts include
- Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition – $5 (75% off).
- Injustice 2 – $5 (90 % off, but honestly, you're better off with the Injustice 2 Legendary Edition which includes all DLC characters and skins, for just $1 more).
- Watchmen: The End Is Nigh - $2 (60 % off and you can bundle this with The End Is Nigh Part 2 at another $1).
- Suicide Squad: Kill Justice League - $14
You can also get a lot of Lego Batman games, DLC, and other goodies at discounts ranging from 50% to 90%. If you're still a Scribblenauts fan, you can grab Scribblenauts: Unmasked, A DC Comics Adventure, for just $4, which is 80% off.
This is the height of Penguin villainy, in my opinion:
Even though I won't be watching The Penguin (not because I have a choice, HBO Max in Canada isn't available), I can't deny this is a great sale on all things Batman. I also appreciate the fact that they used 'the classic Penguin' look for the header. The Penguin Sale runs from now until September 22.
