" data-widget-type="deal" data-render-type="editorial">Curved monitors remain a bit of a novelty, and are not as popular as some early adopters might have thought. They are still a good investment for any game. Especially if you find one that is ultrawide with a high resolution.
Amazon offers a 34-inch ultrawide screen for just $240, which is $160 cheaper than the retail price. This is the lowest price we've ever seen for this screen outside of Prime Day, in October. It was $237 exclusively for Prime members.
This monitor has an ultrawide display of 21:9. It is the most important feature that sets it apart from a standard PC display. Most major games now support ultrawide resolutions right out of the box. There are still some exceptions and I will never forgive Elden Ring, but you shouldn't have any problems.

A 21:9 screen is more beneficial than a minor inconvenience, as it allows you to see more of the game and gives you a wider view of the world. This can be very effective at immersing the player in a game. It can also be helpful in genres like racing and flight simulators. This can also allow for more UI space if you find that a game's onscreen gubins are a bit intrusive.
Its entry-level price is belied by the AMD FreeSync Premium and its 160 Hz refresh rate. The VA panel has a curvature 1800 R, which would make a circle of 1.8 metres (1800 mm) if there were enough screens. This is a fairly standard level of gaming monitor curvature; not too wraparound so that Windows desktop work becomes a hassle and not flat enough to be unnoticeable.
This little LG bargain has one slight drawback: it's not very bright. It's not very bright, with a luminance of 300cd/m 2. This is better than the 250cd/m 2 panels that you'd find elsewhere at this price point. You might think that this display supports HDR 10, and you'd be right. At that low brightness, you can forget about it.
This price is a great deal for a big-brand ultrawide gaming monitor. If you're upgrading from a small 1080p panel, the difference will be enormous.
