Wilmot's Warehouse, the laid-back puzzler, is getting a follow-up in which Wilmot quits his job and does jigsaws at home

The sequel to the ultra-chill puzzler Wilmot's warehouse is even more relaxed, with Wilmot spending his time at home doing puzzles instead of working.

Wilmot's warehouse gained a reputation for its relaxing puzzles in which players stacked items around a factory floor. The player was free to decide how to arrange the warehouse, even though the goal was to make it as efficient as possible.

Wilmot Works It Out continues the series' organisational puzzle theme, but this time you'll be assembling jigsaws that Wilmot receives via mail. The sequel will include sixty puzzles that players can complete and then hang around Wilmot's home in picture frames. As you play, more of the house is unlocked. You can also add customisation items for Wilmot's home.

In the years that have passed, Hollow Ponds and Richard Hogg have created several games. Hogg released I Am Dead in 2020, a puzzle-adventure about a museum curator who is dead and his (also deceased) dog trying to stop a volcano erupting, and destroying Shelmerston.

Hogg released Flock earlier this year. It's an open-ended adventure where you fly on a giant bird and collect other airborne creatures. Kara Phillips, a PC Gamer writer, liked the laid-back adventure of Flock. She wrote, "I've loved pouring hours into exploring the highs and lows of mushroom forest and adding new members to my group as I went."

Wilmot will be able to sort out the issues sooner than you would expect, given how little time has passed since Flock was released. The game will be released on October 23, which is exactly two months away. You can also check out a demo right now.
