You can get these cheap AMD and Intel Prime Day gaming PCs for less than $900 each.

Here's a fun Prime Day Game for you: Look closely at the two gaming computers above and find the differences.

Finished? While they may initially look the exact same, one is running an AMD chip and the other, an Intel. You probably noticed the difference in the CPU cooling. It's harder to see that one has an RTX 4160 and the other a RTX 4160 Ti. I wouldn't be surprised if you missed it from this angle.

Both are Prime Day gaming PCs that will put you on your way to PC gaming bliss for less. Let's look at the specifications, shall we?

A gaming PC with a 13th Generation Intel CPU and an RTX 4060 graphics card is a great deal at a little more than $800. Add to that the fact that this PC has DDR5 RAM, and a decent SSD size and you've got a great deal. It's a great deal, especially when you consider the case, which is rare at this price.

Let's begin with the CyberPowerPC Gamer Xtreme and ignore that cringeworthy title immediately. It's a budget gaming PC that is well-specced to handle 1080p gaming (and 1440p gaming with DLSS 3) now, and a good base to upgrade to something truly fearsome in the future. Amazon is selling it for just $760. This is a great deal.

These components can deliver great performance at a budget-friendly price right out of the package. Core i5-13400F is the baby of Intel's 13th Gen i5 line, but it is our top pick as the best budget gaming processor. It's a hybrid 10-core chip with four Efficient cores and six Performance cores. It's also surprisingly fast for gaming at such a low price point.

Combining that with 16 GB of DDR5 memory (although the speed is not listed, which is annoying) and a 1TB Gen 4 SSD gives you the basis for an impressive little gaming rig.

Then there is the GPU. The standard RTX-4060 isn't the best GPU we've ever used, but thanks to DLSS 3, it can deliver some decent 1080p and even 1440p performance. This rig will need a GPU upgrade at some point in the future. Nvidia's budget to midrange cards will likely be a long time coming, but the humble RTX 4060 is enough for now.

If you don't want wait, you can buy something from our cheap Prime Day GPU deals and turbocharge this PC into something super. What about the CPU? You could go for something like the Core i5-13600K to give it a little extra oomph. However, you should check the wattage of your PSU first to make sure that you don't exceed any power limits.

If you're willing to spend a little more, why not upgrade your GPU and jump into AMD's AM5 Platform?

CyberPowerPC RTX 4060 Ti Gamer Master

$1,099.99 Save $170 at Amazon with $929.99
This machine is equipped with an AMD CPU that has eight cores and 16 threads, and a RTX 4060Ti GPU that's quite powerful. It can deliver excellent 1080p and DLSS 3 gaming performance from the get-go. This is also a great way to start an AM5 system, which will allow you to upgrade your rig in the future." data-widget-type="deal" data-render-type="editorial">

This machine is equipped with an AMD CPU that has eight cores and 16 threads, and a RTX 4060Ti GPU that's quite powerful. It can deliver excellent 1080p and DLSS 3 gaming performance from the get-go. This is also a great way to start an AM5 system, which will allow you to upgrade your rig in the future.

Enter the CyberPowerPC Gamer Master. Another PC with a great specification at a bargain basement price. You get a decent set of components and, more importantly, you're on the AM5 CPU platform, which means that adding a beefier CPU at a future date will be easy.

You'll get the AMD Ryzen 8700F for now. It's a Zen4 chip with 8 cores, 16 Threads and a 5GHz boost clock. It may not be as fast as its other Zen 4 siblings but it still delivers a good amount of gaming and productivity performance.

The RTX-4060 Ti is the star of this show. It may not be the most exciting GPU, but it outperforms the regular RTX 4960 by a considerable margin. It's more of a gaming GPU with better performance at 1440p and a healthier set in benchmarks.

You get 16 GB DDR5 (although the listing does not mention how fast it is) and a Gen 4 1 TB SSD. This is enough to get you started, and the machine should be able to deliver good gaming performance right out of box.

If you later add a Ryzen 7 7700X and a faster GPU, this PC will transform from a budget marvel to a midrange brawler. The CyberPowerPC Gamer Master costs $930 on Amazon. That's not a lot of money for a gaming PC with this level performance and so much room for future upgrades.

Two PCs for less that will get you into PC gaming. Prime Day is really delivering this year isn't?
