Even with some minor hiccups, 4 Elements HD is worth the price. If you're a match three-fan looking for a game that will bring back fond memories of turkey legs, flowing white beards, and pointy hats, you'll get your money's worth out of this title.

It's not a game that will take you an incredible amount of time to complete, nor will it keep you coming back for more once you do blaze through the entire experience. But that's the idea. As a bite-sized, relatively cheap PSN game, 4 Elements HD will keep you busy for a couple of weekends or for a week after work. And what more could you ask for?

If you like a little Bejeweled, or something like it for your PS3, then 4 Elements is for you. You can blow up blocks, check your scores on the online leader boards and stomp your controller into expensive little pieces of plastic as you time runs out and the sheer mind-melting complexity of the whole thing finally gets the better of you. But, isn't that the whole point of a good puzzler?

With a mere $10 price tag, 4 Elements HD provides plenty of gameplay, but it's still something I would only recommend to people who are already fans of the genre, and perhaps people looking for another game to utilize their Move controller with.

On the whole, 4 Elements HD is a welcome break from any intense action and/or time consuming narrative games and can be enjoyed by both competitive and casual gamers of all ages. Unfortunately, it has arguably failed to capitalize on where other 'match three' games also fell short and that is an entertaining storyline to warrant 64 levels.
