They actually created a flying game on a console that rivals even the most hardcore PC flight sims.

So if you're into combat flight sims and want something a little more in-depth than just jumping into a plane and firing missiles, than you'll probably enjoy "Aerowings 2."

A hardcore, take-no-prisoners simulation experience, with great graphics and control, which should have every realism junkie singing the Alleluia Chorus as they drive over to EB and pick up a copy.

A proper combat flight simulator that's also fun to play. This game is what we've all been waiting for -- let's fly!

I have to be honest here, my first reaction was to hate this game, but the more I played the more I found my opinion swayed to the positive.

Unless you are a top-gun protégé, rent this game first.

Excellent gameplay, copious replay, and creamy visuals, marred ever so slightly by chintzy music.

You can see things like vapor trails coming off the wings, sun glare, nicely textured landscape, variable weather, and extremely detailed planes.

With it's newbie-friendly approach, surprising depth, and great two player game, this game is not only better than it's predecessor, it's a great game overall.

If you're looking for nothing but action, you won't find it here. But if you want to fly a REAL plane (or as close as it's possible to get on a console), then get this game.

It's hardly on par with a game like "Falcon 4.0," but you'll find it a rewarding, if shallow, experience.

If you always wanted to get your feet wet with a sim, either flight or combat, "AeroWings 2" should be one of your first choices.

A few aspects may appeal to those of us without a pilot license, but most players will have little desire to struggle with this game beyond the early missions.

There are some real challenges and interesting missions here for those of you who are console flight sim enthusiasts (yes, all three of you).

With its limited gameplay, repetitive modes and lackluster multiplayer, we can't recommend it to anyone other than flight sim enthusiasts.

Rent it, because it deserves at least that but only the truly hardcore aces should even consider the purchase.

The game performs horribly, and by all means do not buy it, and if you rent it, you might as well take your money and burn it.
