Age of Booty is a multi-player affair so much in fact that you should not look at the challenges in the game as a single-player component.

The single-player mode is hurt by uncooperative AI teammates but the online multiplayer more than makes up for this. With its colourful visuals, animated soundtrack and a real sense of “pick up and play” gaming, Age of Booty is a title most people with Xbox Live should check out, even if it is just for the demo, as chances are you’ll like what you see and purchase it for 800 MS points.

OK, so maybe it is sorta piratey, after all. Either way, assuming you can find some friends to sail with, Booty's more fun than a barrel of grog with a wench on top.

The game could have used a little more variety, but this $10 game proves to be yet another great game from Capcom!

As a single-player experience, Age of Booty is frustrating and poorly balanced. Take it online, however, and you've got something that's almost worth the 800-Point asking price.
