Mythologies is also a very sizeable package, offering over 20 hours of play with just the single-player campaigns, and the multiplayer component is a well thought out addition players can break out whenever the mood strikes.

I was really surprised by how much content Age of Empires: Mythologies contains, and the game itself is fun and inventive.

Between single and multiplayer modes, this is a game that you can play for a hundred hours in its first year, and then come back to time and again in the future. I just wish there was a bit more depth outside of combat. The technical execution is flawless!

When you’ve gotten your fill of saving our world and all those fictional ones in this season’s blockbusters, find some time to wield the powers of ancient gods in this tiny title that packs big, addictive fun.

A game that rivals that of Advance Wars, Final Fantasy Tactics Advance 2, and Disgaea. Age of Empires has returned to DS, and with it comes more units, more strategy, just as strong of an economy system, and even more to explore within the package.

A mix of real-time and turn-based conventions makes Age of Empires: Mythologies an addictive venture into the ancient world.

The game's unique rewards system with unlockable maps, heroes, and relic powers adds replay value to a solid, if not earth-shattering strategy title.

The good use of the console potential in control and interface design, and the number of levels and game modes -multiplayer being especially remarkable- assure lots of hours of gameplay to strategy genre fans.

This is a great strategy game for the DS, and one that strategy fans won’t want to miss.

While not totally divine, Age of Empires: Mythologies offers solid turn-based strategy with a wealth of options and online multiplayer.

Age of Empires: Mythologies is based in the same great game design used in its prequel, Age of Kings. The game has been expanded with more units and options like the new god powers. And if you get tired of the very long campaign, which can last more than 20 hours, you can compete using the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection and the added multiplayer mode. One of the best strategy games for Nintendo DS.

The first Age of Empires on the DS was a near miss. A good game sunk by a flawed visual interface. The developers of Mythologies clearly did their homework. This is a solid strategy game with the visual chops to back up a deep, playable design.

Age of Empires: Mythologies is a deeply involving strategy with lots of multiplayer options that when mixed with a robust campaign structure and engaging battle mechanics produces a game of real quality.

Age of Empires is a perfect example of how a strategy game should look on a DS. The game offers strategil depth, it looks good and has some interesting new features. In all fairness, Civilization Revolution will provide you more strategic gameplay, but Age of Empires is a lot easier to pick up and is at least as good as the one Firaxis made.

Age of Empire: Mythologies is one of the best strategic game available on Nintendo DS. The variety of game mode ensure a high replay value, the gameplay is deep and complex, and the graphical engine put on the screen discrete models. After Advance Wars, Final Fantasy Tactics and Fire Emblem, another great game for strategy lovers.

With so many strategic elements at play including an economy system and a variety of unit types, Age of Empires: Mythologies is worth a look at by any turn-based strategy fan.

A breeze to play on DS.

Epic missions will take a lot of train journeys to finish, but this comes recommended for players who know what they're doing and can tame the irritating controls.

A solid tactics title, and while it follows the beaten path, at least it takes you along the scenic route.

A solid, deep game it gets a lot of things right and is such an improvement over its predecessor it is an ideal pick for gamers looking to try the series - and a must have for gamers disillusioned with the last iteration's meager graphical effort.
