CBS Studios had previously announced the development of an animated Among Us TV show, bringing the popular pandemic-era game to television screens. During Summer Game Fest, viewers were treated to the first glimpse of the crewmates in action.
The Among Us series boasts a star-studded cast including Patton Oswalt, Dan Stevens, Elijah Wood, Liv Hewson, Randall Park, Yvette Nicole Brown, Ashley Johnson, Debra Wilson, Kimiko Glenn, Phil Lamarr, and Wayne Knight. While we've had a peek at the series, the crewmates have yet to speak.
Each crewmate plays a distinct role in the show, with colors serving a purpose beyond aesthetics. For instance, Red is the captain, Purple is head of security, Orange is HR, and Green is the unpaid intern.
Who's The Imposter?
As expected, there will be at least one imposter among the crewmates in the Among Us TV series, turning it into a murder mystery.
Viewers are given hints in the show, such as Green venting in front of Orange, Black, Light Blue, and Purple (captured on CCTV), while a mysterious shadowy creature lurks in the background in various clips.
Familiar locations from the Skeld map, like the Reactor and MedBay, are also showcased in the reveal.
Towards the end, a group of characters is seen holding a meeting (and enjoying pizza in the Cafeteria), with a few colors whose actors are yet to be revealed. With a total of 11 crewmates, chances are high that there's more than one imposter among them.
