This version improves the control of the original, expands its levels and offers interesting alternative modes, enhancing an already superb game. It has lost online functions, which is a minor flaw but distances this game from perfection.

Broken Rules certainly lives up to its name with And Yet It Moves, and the result is an addictive and memorable puzzle-platformer sure to please anyone with an affinity for either genre.

The fact that games hell-bent on breaking all the rules appear to be showing up on an increasingly regular basis across multiple download channels is genuinely heart-warming.

What moves a developer to make a game that looks like it created out of cut-outs from old magazines and newspapers? Sceptical as one can be, we are glad to say that And Yet it Moves managed to turn us around. Copying and pasting has never been this original. With its quirky art style and brain-twisting puzzles, it is nothing short of a small piece of art.

An impressive debut from Broken Rules, who have taken their own name literally by screwing up the rule book and trying something a little different within an established genre. The gamble pays off: with a friendly concept, striking art, and abstract-yet-believable world, And Yet It Moves presents is a worthy addition to the WiiWare catalogue.

A title that will both challenge your brain and your gaming skills while making you appreciate gravity a bit more.

Of course, And Yet It Moves only scratches the surface of possibility, but it is a journey absolutely worth taking.

A bevy of unlockable time trial and puzzle modes top off this premium WiiWare purchase. Must buy.

Another must have on the WiiWare. And Yet It Moves is a successful experiment, as it contains a fun and extremely addictive gameplay and a great atmosphere, thanks to its strange but oniric visuals and enchanting sound effects. Surely a great title, maybe not for everyone, but definitely worth a play.

Like its PC counterpart, And Yet it Moves on Wii is a brilliant execution of a good idea. More than that, the controls of the Wii version make this game fits perfectly on this console. The only flaws are the simplicity of the gameplay and the shortness of the game overall.

For anyone looking for an interesting and different puzzle game, I highly recommend And Yet It Moves.

I think my biggest complaint is that there isn't enough of the game, which is often my complaint with short good games. You just want more!

And Yet It Moves is living proof that small developers can create great games. The game is finished after six hours but keeps you asking for much, much more.

You might die a little too easily at times, but with such a short campaign, and puzzles that are easy to figure out (if sometimes are hard to pull off) AYIM's is an indie game worth owning on Wii.

And Yet it Moves provides an adventure that is both challenging and relaxing in equal measure and shows that complicated controls and crazy move sets aren't needed to give players a compelling platforming experience.

And Yet It Moves is a solid effort that should have no problems finding a place in your game library. Great level design, improved controls over its PC brother and interesting visuals bring a fresh feel to the genre that easily makes it worth the price of admission, regardless of its flaws.

Enjoyably whipped through in three hours, And Yet It Moves finds rare extra pull in unlockable modes.

It's a fun puzzling platformer that bleeds life into the genre. It is short, despite some unnecessary level padding, but definitely worth the price tag.

While it may be a touch on the short side, it is still a game that has been crafted with a clear and uncompromising vision and we're happy that it has found a new home and – hopefully – a new audience on the Wii. If you have any interest at all in challenging and original game design, it really is more than worthy of your attention.

If you've already played the PC version, then I'm not sure if the additional three levels and Wii control setup will be enough to sway you to double dip, but for those who mainly stick to console play and haven't, and love the genre, definitely pick this up as soon as you can.
