After a throw-away attempt on the DS, Warthog has constructed a passable platformer with the Animaniacs franchise. You won't find anything fresh or spectacular, but the gameplay is competent and the show has (finally) been recreated with some decent accuracy.

An acceptable game that is worthy of its low price. I highly recommend this to younger gamers and anyone who was a fan of the show.

The Great Edgar Hunt is a good, if not very original, platformer in its own right, offering up some funny writing and interesting environments to explore.

The Pinky and the Brain mini games are hilarious and break up the action, and while the story is almost none existent there is an overall goal to find all the Edgars and really that's all a small mind needs to be burdened with.

While Animaniacs: The Great Edgar Hunt might not be the best-looking game on today's market, the thought behind it is certainly well appreciated. Playing with Yakko, Wakko, Dot, Pinky and The Brain will bring back happy memories to older gamers and will certainly amuse younger gamers with its humor and cartoon feel.

The lack of direction is what really kills the game, though. With the generous health points, numerous save spots and easy to defeat enemies, this would seem like a game targeted toward kids, but the lack of more detailed information on the gameplay isn't kid-friendly.

For fans of the show it's a wonderful new piece of new Animaniacs content. For everyone who isn't lucky enough to have seen the show, it's a solid piece of gameplay along with an opportunity to connect with some really wonderful comic characters.

Animaniacs: The Great Edgar Hunt is a decent game if you are between the ages of five and ten and enjoy the cartoon series.

Like the billions of other platformers fighting for shelf space, it's just kind of... there. The lack of frustration means it's good for kids but for everyone else, why settle for Kimberly when you can have Cheryl?

Aimed at kids, this is a guilty treat for adults as well.

The game gets by purely on the appeal of its characters, and ends up being a reasonably entertaining game for kids.

It's actually quite a bit of fun in the few hours that it lasts, and has every bit of the Animaniacs' ridiculous humor poured into it.

From its mediocre gameplay to its downright icky graphics, there wasn't a whole lot that couldn't have been done better in the making of this game.

When the game manages to find its groove, it's absolutely hilarious and incredibly fun. But between those moments of inspired lunacy and brilliance are vast half-hours of monotony.
