What’s not to like? A MMOG with fantastic production values, monthly episodic content, that’s playable over a 56k connection, you bet people will like it!

Hardcore RPG players will probably hate AC2, deeming it too simple to be worth their while. It is simple, certainly far simpler than AC1 or EverQuest, but it’s not simplistic. Turbine has merely removed much of the annoying faff and limitations from the genre and concentrated on the game itself.

An addictive game that has a good spawn rate, wonderful graphical elements and solid sound.

Even if you are not floored when you first start playing, give the game a chance and explore some of the nuances and you will be hooked before you know it.

What awaits everyone in Dereth is a world rich with lore, quests and beauty.

Easy to get into, difficult to stop playing and always enjoyable.

The rich, continuing back story is among the most fascinating found in the MMORPGs, and the fact that players can take part in the story truly adds to the experience.

With a fabulous graphics engine, deep character development and excellent additions to come in the months ahead, AC2 sets a new standard.

The combat animations and audio are good, but the severe lack of cities with NPCs to barter and interact with is a shame.

One of the more organic MMORPG experience I've had in a long while, eschewing the sterility I usually get when I enter an online world. This game is changing and growing, even ex post facto of its release.

Despite all the cool tweaks and additions, the repetitive gameplay still nags at me.

Its promise of new content every month with a changeable world affected by the players is very attractive, but the game itself can be laden with boredom, substandard equipment and obnoxious PvP (in the wrong zones).

A solid MMORPG, but feels like it's missing that special spark that will keep you hooked for weeks on end.

Just one of those strange games that has it all on paper, executes the design properly and yet doesn’t capture the imagination.
