You'll do yourself a disservice to avoid it, especially at $0.99.

While just as unrealistic as its predecessors, Asphalt 7 manages to turn up the notch on its presentation, game modes, AI and career progression, making it a hard to ignore example of fun Arcade Racing.

I suppose what I like most about Asphalt 7 is the fact that it doesn't go out of its way to grab your money beyond the 0.99 cent pricetag.

Asphalt 7: Heat is a terrific racing game. The game is well paced, has enough tracks and vehicles en offers a lot in terms of gameplay variation. On top of that the excellent graphics and good control scheme, make this a game you cannot miss.

Asphalt 7: Heat does nothing new for the series, but it does it damn good. This is arcade racing at its best, packed with almost perfect controls and plenty of tracks, cars and modes.

It is difficult to keep the quality of a series, but Gameloft manages to do it with this sequel, which has interesting additions like an improved control system, enhanced graphics and a more complete multiplayer.

Asphalt 7 delivers the same levels of excitement as the previous installments… with improved graphics and a new interesting (if not perfect) feature, Asphalt Tracker.

For the price Asphalt 7 is one of the best arcade racers on iOS. What it lacks in originality it makes up for in polish. Just don't expect a full console experience; it still feels like a mobile game.

A great racing game. It has a couple of minor flaws, but nothing gamebreaking. The social sharing hooks after every race can be a little annoying, and they delay the time getting to the next race. Still, slight problems aside, fans of racing games will enjoy the total package offered in Asphalt 7 Heat.

Asphalt 7 Heat is a pretty full package that, while not being a major overhaul of the series, does enough to warrant a purchase by fans. It's certainly one of the best looking games on the App Store and you can't fault it for doing pretty much what it sets out to do; being a fast, no nonsense arcade racer.

Very little has changed since the last instalment of Gameloft's arcade racing franchise, but Asphalt 7: Heat certainly isn't lacking when it comes to hot-rod action and stunning presentation.

Maybe Asphalt 7 is not so innovative as we might expect from the 7th chapter of a well known Gameloft franchise and yes, if you already own Asphalt 6 you could easily live also without it. But believe me, going wrong with Asphalt 7 is pretty impossible: great graphics, excellent gameplay, intuitive control system. Considering its starting promotional price, denying it a chance would be a huge mistake!

If you're as much of a fan of the Asphalt series as I am then you're going to love Heat. It's nice to see that Gameloft is improving each entry while managing to keep the cost low. Race junkies are going to love looking for shortcuts, catching air and blasting their way through the beautiful looking tracks to the sound of energetic techno music.

The Asphalt series can use a mass injection of new ideas and features, but for now, Asphalt 7: Heat is still a very good racing game.

Taken on its own, Asphalt 7 is the best game in the series so far, but it does little to differentiate itself from its predecessors aside from price.

Gameloft's complete incapacity for gameplay innovation and penchant for annoying players into spamming their own Facebook accounts drags Asphalt 7 down, but I'd be lying if I said it's not the best arcade racer available for iPhone and iPad.

Asphalt 7 is basically Asphalt 6, only with more pathetic attempts at social integration and obnoxious offers to share your progress with your friends.
