Ezio is one of the most charismatic characters in gaming and his journeys permeate that charm. Sure, those games are old, but the offer a pack of timeless adventures.

It's not easy to give advice on this collection. Ezio still rocks, while Desmond's story is a bit disappointing. The controls are not as good as we would have liked.

This collection is mostly referred to the ones that haven't tried the games upon their initial release and for them is a great way to discover an era when the Assassin's Creed franchise was revolutionary and its creators were full of inspiration and great ideas, creating a monumental trilogy.

Assassin’s Creed returns with the trilogy that featured one of the most charismatic videogame characters and made the saga great. Enhanced graphics for this new generation of consoles, but Ubisoft could have done a much better job with this remastered version.

2016 is the first year we don't have a new Assassin's Creed release during fall. In order to fill this gap, Ubisoft has in schedule an upcoming movie and this The Ezio Collection, a nice but overall not so great remaster of a trilogy that has proven to be more relevant and unforgettable than many thought back in the days.

It's been a nice surprise seeing how well these three games hold up, visually and gameplay-wise. If you played them before, though, you won't find anything new, but if you didn't it's a good opportunity to discover this trilogy.

With Assassin's Creed: Ezio Collection you can play one of the most beautiful trilogies on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, with a slightly better graphics and all the DLC included in the package.

Assassin's Creed: The Ezio Collection offers in one game what all the series did the best so far, that's a fact. But the port is a bit lazy.

It shows that none of the main Assassin's Creed games are going to age particularly well, but it also does a good job of highlighting - when freed of the expectations that come with being a blockbuster - that the real strengths of the series are far more subtle than the graphics or size of the cities that it renders.

Having the ability to play arguably three of the best games in the Assassin’s Creed universe on a current generation console is brilliant, although don’t expect much of a significant impact in terms of upgrades for gameplay or visuals. Improved upon? Yes. Reinvented and completely remastered? Not really. Still worth the money, though.

Buy this for the best hero and plot of the series, and insane hours-for-dollars value.

Look, let’s be straight here – The Ezio Collection is a fairly lazy port. Minimal effort has been made to improve the games either graphically or mechanically and there’s absolutely no reason to pick this up if you already own the previous gen versions of the games.

An honest remastered, not for those who have played the original games for sure, but everybody else should give it a chance.

Because Ezio and its Italian appeal are the best thing that ever happened to the Assassin's Creed IP, The Ezio Collection is a must have, but not at the actual price point as the new elements are too few.

Right now, when the market is saturated with remasters we expected much more from this The Ezio Collection of three of our favourite Assassin's Creed games.

If you never played the Ezio Assassin's Creed games, this remaster is a superior way of experiencing it. If, however, you played them before, I'm not convinced that this remaster offers enough to make replaying them worthwhile unless you are truly that desperate for an Assassin's Creed game this year.

The Ezio Collection give us the best of the series, a package that will be enjoyed by the newcomers to the franchise, but maybe it's not the best remasterization for the old fans of the franchise.

Ubisoft brings together three of the most important games of the Assassin's Creed series, forgetting the years that have passed since their release date. The increase in resolution is not enough to modernize gameplay that has been stopped while the world has evolved.

For newcomers to the Assassin’s Creed franchise, this is the place to start — and with the Master Assassin, no less. For others, it’s probably one to miss, unless you really, really want to get back into the thick of things.

Despite how much Ezio Auditore da Firenze is showing his age, you can’t help but enjoy yourself as you stab your way through countless Templars. That said, it’s only fun if you already played and enjoyed the games the first time. I can’t imagine taking such a large backwards step in gameplay evolution for those who have only played Black Flag or Syndicate.
