The game presentation is first rate, with hypnotic music and fantastic visuals.

This makes Bejeweled Twist easily the best in the series, and brain-consumingly addictive to boot.

If you are a fan of the series, than this is another game for you and even if you have never played it and would like to “play” something different, than we could happily recommend this strange puzzle game.

It somehow manages to make a completely stale concept feel fresh again, while providing a ton of replay value through different gameplay modes.

Taking Bejeweled Twist for what it is, you are left with a clearly superior casual puzzler. Twist offers a great tweak on a classic formula, but it would have been nice if things had been taken a few steps further.

It’s just pure puzzling with some excellent modes and few other frills. Sometimes that’s all you need.

It's still a beautiful, engaging title; it just might not be enough of a revolution. Because we've all seen it before, it doesn't quite have the sublime whizz of the original.

A serious time-killer, but not quite the second coming.

Bejeweled Twist is an entirely playable casual game -- even enjoyable -- but it does not pop in the same way as the original Bejeweled games.

Slow but satisfying sequel.

Despite the silly roulette wheel thing, it's still addictive. I've played it for hours.

Like the old adage says "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" and unfortunately the makers of Bejeweled Twist have changed the gameplay, taking away the addictive qualities that previous Bejeweled titles have thrived on.
