I have to admit, I am totally captivated by BH. What I was going to dismiss as "just another kiddie game" has turned into a visually stunning and highly entertaining video game for young and old alike.

One for the younger players maybe, but it's wonderfully put together.

A very entertaining licensed game, it has a ton of replay value, and it’s a no-brainer for younger action/adventure fans. In that way, it’s a success.

As an acquaintance of mine once said, this game takes away the blood and gore that makes most shooting games cool, but replaces it all with robots, which are equally cool.

The LEGO elements are just as fun as ever, and the advent of the masks provides solid variety.

There's a cavern in here reserved for viewing your stockpile, along with enough mini-games to keep you busy until the 720 comes out.

There’s a lot of fun to be had in Bionicle Heroes, and the price is definitely right, but ultimately this is a game you should be picking up for your kid brother for Christmas, and not for yourself. It’s a game that’s great at what it does, but put against the Gears of Wars of the world, doesn’t pass muster.

For all the eleven-year-olds whose lives revolve around the popular LEGO franchise, a game of good versus evil has been carefully crafted just for you. If you aren't eleven, and are daring enough to look past the clumsiness of this title, then you'll unearth a short, fast passed, relentless shooter with easy achievements.

It's probably the game Hobbes' buddy Calvin would have designed had he ever grown up, although it's far too repetitious and simply not challenging enough for grown-ups.

Besides the poor camera angle, it's easy to play and is challenging enough to hold your attention for an enjoyable and borderline addictive experience.

If you were a massive fan of the Lego Star Wars games then by all means check out Bionicle Heroes - to a very large degree it looks like the same game, and as such you'll get the same kind of grinding enjoyment out of mining all the levels for booty.

This game is beyond easy to where anyone with any gaming knowledge will be able to beat it in no time with very little challenge.

The flaws of the game really stand out to make this feel like a lifeless and incomplete experience.

This game is definitely aimed at the young and inexperienced player. Serious gamers need not apply.

Bionicle Heroes looks good, and has a decent license backing it, but completely fails to capture the magic that made the LEGO Star Wars games a hit. What you get instead is an average, boring shooter that’s only worth playing if you have a deep love for the source material.

Not even the allure of shiny robots with guns for arms can liven up this mind-numbingly simplistic and repetitive over-the-shoulder shooter.

Bionicle Heroes does little to make a name for itself, with repetitive and overly simplistic gameplay, and some rather uninspiring visuals.

Obscure, irritating and redeemed a little only by its addictiveness and the variety of the Bionicles that you control.

I’ve enjoyed playing BIONICLE Heroes for the sheer fact that it’s uncomplicated, easy to get into and a lot of fun. However on a negative I can’t help but feel the net could have been widened to include levels of difficulty for more seasoned players and perhaps more levels and objectives other than the same repeated sequences throughout the game.

A poorly executed game that could’ve been much more memorable if it had followed a similar path to Lego Star Wars.
