An arcade RPG clone of "Gauntlet Dark Legacy."

Only two kinds of gamers would appreciate this title: beginners and those looking for an easy hack-and-slash party game.

BS is no gem, mind you, but it is strangely addicting, as these games tend to be when the mood strikes.

It's the same as "Gauntlet: Dark Legacy." And by "the same," we mean "virtually identical."

It's definitely more fun with your friends, but in the same way that eating broccoli with a saltine is better than eating the green alone.

Yes there is some fun to be had but you’ll get bored long before you unlock all the characters or see the final 26th level.

Playing this game alone borders on punishment, so I stress the point that if you are a loser and do not have any friends; please steer clear of Blackstone and all its unholiness.

Seems to have sprung up from the sharp minds of bored high school students who probably spent too much time playing "Gauntlet."

It baffles me how a game like this could be made. I cannot fathom why, during the development process, someone did not just say, “Enough is enough,” and scrap the project entirely.

Unlike "Gauntlet," Black Stone is so poorly executed, that it is absolutely no fun to play.

Like a botched cloning experiment from a B movie, with developer Xpec Entertainment playing the mad scientist's role and Gauntlet playing the test subject. The beast that's emerged from the cloning chamber is just what you'd expect: a shambling, ugly, and dumb version of the source material.
