Agent Bloodrayne's acrobatic dexterity and quick response time would make Trinity jealous.

There’s a lot to admire about BloodRayne, and, although the initial missions bite, overall the game hardly sucks.

A fun diversion for those looking for one. The graphics and gameplay, especially the cool powers and abilities sported by Rayne make it an above average action title.

Like "Max Payne," BR is fun while it lasts and it has enough style to make it worth revisiting.

The unique ways to dispose of your enemies, along with the various abilities Rayne has, keeps you pushing forward, though each stage does seem to have its own area that you'll want to skip over.

Controlling Rayne is dead on with the Xbox controller...The game falls short because it doesn't have anything to offer players going through the game once more.

BloodRayne can be forgiven on a lot of levels because it's so silly it's fun, but for everything it does which is endearing, there's something to frustrate, bore or alienate the player.

I came away with a very “been there, done that” feeling after completion, and there are several titles which execute this general style more effectively.

Nothing here will leave a strong impression one way or the other, and perhaps that in and of itself is a negative.

Half-baked doesn’t even begin to describe this fodder – which is a shame because even with its clichéd eccentricity it could have won as an example of style over substance. It doesn’t.
