Features all the addictive multi-player mayhem of its previous incarnations, but the impact is slightly diminished by limited one-player games and inexplicable load times.

This is still one of the best multiplayer games ever.

Given that just about nobody bought the Saturn and most people probably don't have their Super Nintendo's hooked up anymore, then this might be your only chance to get a classic Bomberman fix this side of your PC.

Do yourself a favor -- buy a multitap, rent some friends (we find that beer works for this) and spend a night bombing the hell out of each other. Just, please, don't ride the animals.

Despite its unusually deficient single-player mode, Bomberman Party Edition still manages to succeed where many previous attempts have failed, delivering an uproariously enjoyable multiplayer experience.
