One of the best adventure games from the German production and also one of the best games funded from a Kickstarter campaign. King Art Games were totally successful with this one.

It's larger, more beautiful, more difficult, better in every aspect compared it its predecessor. At the same time, it proves that Kickstarter as well as Steam Early Access can significantly contribute to the very high quality of a game. I don't like being led to hasty conclusions, but via "The Book of Unwritten Tales 2" King Art Games manages to put Daedalic Entertainment, as well as any other developer, in a very difficult position regarding the creation of the best adventure game for 2015. A true masterpiece of its genre.

The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 is the best representative so far of the modern graphic adventure genre. You will test your brain with hundreds of well thought puzzle while enjoying a very fine and satisfying storytelling.

It’s a comforting reminder that video games can still hark back to their traditional roots and produce an enjoyable experience without any overblown live-action trailer or day one DLC. This is a delight to play.

One of the best point and click adventure titles to be released, and stands as an example of what the genre has to offer. I would easily place it in the company of revered adventure titles like Grim Fandango or Tales Of Monkey Island, perhaps even surpassing them as it takes what made those titles great and expands upon them.

A lovingly made puzzle laden parody of fantasy games that injects its own unique personality in between the deliberately laid layers of cliché and trope.

A really good sequel and a great old-school graphic adventure. Graphics are very good, the writing is extremely funny, puzzles are smart and complex, and the game is really long.

It's got good puzzles, some of which may be a bit too obtuse, and a very lighthearted overall tone, as well as a ton of wit and some loving pop culture references to enjoy, as well as an interesting storyline to follow.

A game that reminds us why at one point in time, adventure games ruled the earth.

The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 is proof that it's possible to make a great graphic adventure, even in 2015. It's pretty difficult and requires more attention than your average puzzler, but you'll love the art direction, the story and the humour.

It's delicate and fun as a fairy tale, but it doesn't forget how to add solid gameplay elements to the formula.

A king-size sequel brimming with fun dialogue, charming characters and beautiful visuals. If it weren’t for some pacing issues and the occasional quirky puzzle it would even surpass its predecessor.

When it comes down to it, this is a must-play game for those who enjoy adventure games of this style – but it definitely sticks to the tried-and-true point n’ click genre.

This game not only delivers a great sequel, but also a great story and the soul of a genre that has been forgotten for many years.

With engaging and believable protagonists, whimsical landscapes, and delightful voice acting to complement the shrewd writing, there's little left to nitpick but the mediocre puzzles, predictable plot, and occasional graphical hiccups.

The sequel revived my faith in point’n’click games by proving that we do not have to settle for run-of-the-mill dialogues and flat characters. King Art is a seriously talented studio that could make a game about a snail crossing the street and still make me laugh regularly.

The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 brings more magic, more fantasy, more puzzles… but… Is it better tan its predecessor? Not really, but it´s not worse, either. If you enjoyed the first game get ready for another rollercoaster of fun.

An entertaining game, but no revolution of the adventure genre and quite similar to the first game.

Despite the minor issues, it’s hard to deny that Book of Unwritten Tales 2 has everything I like in a point-and-click adventure: fun puzzles, memorable characters, and plenty of heart.
