Cabela's Dangerous Hunts 2009 Critic Reviews

While this game has some fun novelty appeal, it has very little lasting appeal and is definitely a better rental than purchase.

Best leave this one out in the wilderness.

Cabela’s Dangerous Hunts 2009 is a weak game from start to finish, with very few redeeming qualities. The poor gameplay even has the ability to leave you frustrated and tempted to turn your console off. If you’re a big hunter, or enjoyed the past offerings from Cabela’s and Activision, then you might consider trying it. CDH 2009 is a rental at best.

The mission selection is definitely a bit different from previous games, and having the various encounters with potentially dangerous prey is a great idea, but the actual execution feels pretty lackluster here.

By any reasonable criteria, this is a bag of balls.

The ugliest game on PS3 can be entertaining, but it's mostly a mess.
