If you have enough patience and the rough heart of a hunter you will like the story mode, but arcade fans will be disappointed finding only a few action-paced shooting stands. Additionally you will have to play with the Top Shot Elite to enjoy the game the way it's meant to be played. A bitter-sweet symphony.

The game offers several content offerings and has some good elements, but the execution does not excel in any field and remains quite a limited game.

The game tries to broaden the series focus to the classic FPS lovers thanks to a more tight and interesting plot, while trying to please the causal public thanks to the new controller gun and a less simulative gameplay. A controversial title, that even if not excelling in any particular area, could be quite interesting for some gamers.

This trigger-happy safari may be too exuberant for its own good, but there's still some fun to be had in these hunts.

Cabela's Dangerous Hunts 2011 it's not an hunting game, more likely an FPS. The story has major plot holes and the AI presents some major issues. Fortunately the galleries and the alternative game modes save it from a total failure.

Cabela's Dangerous Hunts 2011 is by no means a terrible game. It's an average one that stands out for its use of a gun peripheral that, by large, is the best aspect of buying the $70 bundle.

Unless you're dying for a lightgun game at any costs, you're best advised to set your sights elsewhere.
