The old adage about hours of boredom punctuated by moments of sheer terror holds true here, and while the terror's fun for a while, the boredom ultimately cancels it out.

Graphics notwithstanding, the developers have done a reasonably good job of replicating the hunting experience.

Despite featuring an arcade-style mode, Dangerous Hunts is more of a slow-paced sim. Whether you find it intense or terribly tedious will probably depend on your hunting knowledge and patience.

The frame-rate issues make this game a chore to play.

Even with the minor gameplay additions and the thrill of deadly creatures, this value-priced game is really just another slow-paced hunting sim.
