Treyarch is tackling the biggest problem players have with Black Ops 6 in the wake of Nuketown: The map pool.

Treyarch has released a sneak peek to show us what's to come.

Call of Duty's official X Twitter account states that "Season 1 will take Black Ops into the criminal underworld on November 14." Here's a sneak peak at some of the new maps that will be coming to Black Ops 6 Multiplayer this season. The post contains some details about the maps: there are two new core multiplayer map, Hideout and Extraction 6v6, as well as a new strike multi-player map, Heirloom 2v2 and 6v6.

These maps are located in a museum, a coastal airport, and a military base. The current map pool for Black Ops 6 has been the subject of much discussion. Even the addition of Nuketown couldn't appease players who were frustrated by the awful spawn points (which see many players die as soon as they are spawned).

Reddit asks "Can we discuss how God awful these maps are?" Players pointed out, alongside an image of launch maps, some of which were crossed out in red, like a hit-list, that some maps are not unsalvageable, but just have frustrating spawns.

One player says, "Vorkuta is a good map but the spawns look so strange." Some players say that it "plays just like Shipment." I don't dislike Shipment and sometimes I want to jump into the hellscape. But I agree, spawning in a map to die instantly because an enemy player was looking directly at your spawn is frustrating. We can only hope that Treyarch has listened to all of this feedback since launch, and that the new maps we'll be seeing in Season 1 have better spawns.

Players can expect to see other changes in Season 1 besides new maps. Warzone's integration with Black Ops 6 is one of the most exciting changes. There will be a new Area 99 Map and omnimovement. It took a while to get used to, but it has been a big hit, in part because controller aim assist has been drastically nerfed.
