Takes the solid gameplay mechanics of Mirror's Edge and throws in satisfying combat, a bunch of unlockable items, a sweet motion comic storyline, and a fun combo/power move system.

While not as tight as Mirror's Edge for iOS devices, Captain America: Sentinel of Liberty is still a fun side-scrolling free-running title that pairs up action and platforming with an intuitive control system that's perfect for touch devices.

The game's tutorials are absolutely horrid, in that they serve as a major disruption to the pace of the game.

Captain America: Sentinel of Liberty has strong core concept in terms of its gesture gameplay, but rough edges blunt its appeal.

A decent platformer that does its best to utilize the license. Worth getting if you're still in need of more Captain America after going to the movies, and have already played the iOS version of Mirror's Edge.

Given the relatively high price and the low quality of the experience, you'd be better off buying Mirror's Edge and a couple of Captain America comics to get your fix of what this game tries to offer.

Captain America: Sentinel of Liberty is basically a "running game" in which you can perform a good number of actions, explore levels in different ways and take out your opponents by using rapid attacks or spectacular combos. The problem is the controls don't work as they should, making the experience frustrating.
