Designed for younger players, "Casper: Spirit Dimensions" is a fun and attractive action-adventure hybrid.

The young audience that this product is aimed at will find the odd control dynamic to be unduly frustrating.

Ultimately succeeds at what it attempts to do because it gives the world its first Casper videogame that's actually as much fun to watch as it is to play.

Offers a new twist on old gameplay, and as such it might be a title worth the time for those players who like the idea of totally free movement. In all other areas, however, it is quite marginal.

There are enough great games out there right now for PS2 that you don't need to waste times on the ones that are simply in the average to good range, and that's where Casper stands, or better yet, floats.

The game is really beatiful... But here's the problem: The game is HARD.

Casper fans would be well advised to stick with the comic books.
