Revelations is enjoyable, but being released just a month after the full game and costing $10, and only being a 3-4 hour title is a little irksome. But if you can look passed that, there is a fun time to be had.

Although I can't say it's a must-play for Lord of Shadow 2 fans, Alucard is cool, he's classy, and I want more of him in a leading role. Until then, Revelations is two or three more hours of quality content for an underrated title, and the cleverness of its core idea was definitely worth the price of admission.

If you liked the main story, you will probably enjoy playing with Alucard. Although it lacks some more story development, it offers decent duration, it is fun playing with the son of Dracula and, of course, the final showdown with you-know-who is something that will keep you entertained for a day or two.

Revelations has an intriguing plot and a fascinating new hero, but it is also an expansion weak in terms of quality and contents.

It's great to have Alucard back and it's a nice DLC, but Revelations is far too short and ends quite abruptly, leaving a desire for more.

What’s most irritating is that there is simply no real reason to purchase this DLC. Granted, if you loved Lords of Shadow 2’s gameplay, then here’s a few hours more to enjoy, but it just feels like a purchasable fetch quest that doesn’t really feel like it adds anything to what we’ve already played and seen.
