Overall Catherine: Full Body is a great experience built for both new players and veteran players alike. Not settling for a simple remaster, Atlus really pulled out all the stops at making this worth the money. Even as bad as I was, it was still a fun time. With all the different endings I think I’ll return to the game on an easier difficulty to experience it all, because the writing is so good and the gameplay is challenging but when in a good flow it can be highly addictive. Anyone like me who may have skipped over Catherine’s original release should remedy that with Full Body.

New endings mean the leading ladies feel slightly more fleshed-out, but those aforementioned old chestnuts have deep roots in the game’s numerous and extremely varied – er – routes. That is to say, it’s more of the same. Obviously that’s not a bad thing but, like marriage, it won’t be for everyone.

Full Body is another proof that Atlus and Shigenori Soejima are master storytellers, presenting this remake of cult PS3 classic as another improved lunge into depths of human emotion. It is funny, witty, dark and serious at the same time, all while pushing the player through difficult(or not so much on Safety mode) puzzle sequences, with some of the greatest OSTs rolling in the background.
