Chase: Hollywood Stunt Driver Critic Reviews

The best stunt driving game I've played all year. It's challenging, but not to the point where you'll risk losing your sanity.

Not a perfect game, but it does a decent job at what it sets out to do.

With an addictive pickup-and-play setup, simple directives, and wide variety of settings, Chase is like "Stuntman," just not so sucky.

Gets the most important element right: it gives gamers a taste of being a stunt driver without losing touch of every game's ultimate goal: high in fun, low in frustration.

A bit on the short side, but it's a satisfying game nonetheless.

Trick buttons can't pull chase out of mediocrity.

While certainly fun, it's so short you should probably just rent it.

Seems like a mere shadow of Stuntman, as it tries to mimic what Stuntman did, but it can’t seem to match it with the visuals or audio.

Very little about the game stands out. The graphics are relatively bland, and there's no real sense of speed while driving.

An unremarkable title that whilst potentially sound in concept (aside from the gratuitous use of a female lead), completely fails to deliver in terms of providing any kind of thrills.

To its credit, Chase is nowhere near as hair-pullingly difficult as Stuntman, while at the same time it doesn't have the level of intensity that will keep you coming back for more.

Chase lacks ingenuity, vive, and excitement...It lacks passion.

Sadly, with some polish, this could have been a really good game.

It's so overflowing with contrived gimmicks to (presumably) add to the depth and longevity to the game that its weak core gameplay sticks out like a sore thumb.
