A team of agents, astronauts, and scientists were sent 955,600 miles across space by NASA and the US Military, however all contact is lost a few hours after their arrival. You play as a marine named "Jake" who is sent on a mission to retrieve any research and data left behind by the original survey team while fighting off hostile forces. If Chasing Dead was a more polished product with all its issues ironed out, you might find a decent sci-fi zombie romp underneath all the mess. Perhaps the developer will go back and patch out all the issues one day, but as it stands Chasing Dead is best left on the shelves of the Nintendo eShop. Not recommended.

Chasing Dead is an uninspired and disappointing FPS with a zombie theme that doesn't break any ground in the midst of hundreds of games of the same genre. While some sections are well-presented and the use of real actors to narrate the plot is laudable, the players are left to their own devices with very little orientation, the visual execution harms the gameplay experience, the control system takes rather long to get used to and the enemy AI is chaotic and makes no sense.

Horror-themed FPS Chasing Dead suffers from a lack of all-round polish, resulting in sluggish and sometimes confusing gameplay and awkward graphical issues.
