Chime Sharp is maybe a tiny bit bare bones compared to its competitors, with no multiplayer and fairly short round times, but the focused precision really suits the game here, and it’s nonetheless a fantastic chillout puzzle game, one I highly recommend.

It does get a tad tedious, and there are a few things they certainly could’ve done a better job explaining, but it’s well worth the ride if you like your puzzle games to be fast and challenging.

Chime Sharp builds upon the original Chime by stuffing it with more game modes and improving the presentation. A tough and challenging puzzle game, which delivers a charming experience thanks to the role of the music. Discovering the structure of the melodies is fascinating, and the difficulty is set on a fair level. Too bad for the control system, which seems to lack precision in some occasions.

The idea to fuse Tetris with a music game was a good one, but Chime Sharp failed to escape repetitiveness, so it’s not suitable for longer sessions. It’s a good way to stretch your brain every now and then though.
